"The Sage Model" is a board we cooked up for maximum wave counts for the wisest surfers in the lineup. Less of a noserider than some of our other longboard models, the Sage optimizes glide and control. Named in honor of both the wisest surfers in the lineup, and the Sagebrush plains of Western Montana. This model started out a custom we cooked up with our friend Matt Skoglund of North Bridger Bison for his periodic trips to the coast. It's got the float and paddling to keep wave counts high, and control from the tail to keep it feeling loose—even went the joints aren't.
