Watermelon Tatreez on Black Tote Hand Stitched by Women Artisans in Palestine

This black fabric tote was hand embroidered by women artisans carrying on the traditional craft of tatreez. The bag features 3 watermelon motifs. This hand stitching work is done by Manjel Ma'qoud, a group we began in December of 2023 in response to the desperate economic situation imposed on Occupied Palestine. In 2024 it provided income generation to more than 80 women. Dimensions: 39 x 37.5 cm | 15.3 x 14.75 in All purchases from Handmade Palestine support fair trade artisans sustaining their livelihoods and we donate profits from every purchase to a local not-for-profit to plant trees and protect Palestine’s environment.
