DESCRIPTION Aultmore 21 Year Old - A rarest of Speyside classics has been distilled in handmade copper stills since 1897, yet for over a century it was only sold in limited edition aimed at collectors. A singlemalt Scotch whisky from John Dewars & Sons was released in 2014 as part of Last Great Malts ranges, appeared in 2015. This whisky is bottled with its natural colour inherited from the wood barrels and without chill filtration TASTING NOTES This whisky is exceptionally smooth clean and fruity taste comes courtesy of the gorse -and - heather filtered waters of the Foggie Moss and malted barley from peat smoke. A touch of herbal grassiness hides in the background with dry spice coming on farther along. It is richer still on the short and smooth finish.
