A professionally & fully restored Florence Knoll for Knoll Associates "Parallel Bar" sofa, 1955. This classic Florence Knoll Model 53 Parallel Bar Sofa has been professionally restored and reupholstered with original Knoll Fabric woven two tone grey fabric, the fabric has a wool hand feel and is incredibly durable. This iconic Florence Knoll designed sofa epitomizes American mid-century modern design and was first introduced by Knoll International in 1955, it features a minimalist, armless silhouette with elegant button-tufted back cushions and a distinct linear support structure. The design features two parallel steel bars running horizontally beneath the front and back of the seat frame, distributing the weight evenly, the steel frame features a two tone brushed chrome finish.
