Become an Archaeologist for the Day at Hale Farm Step back in time at the beautiful, historic site of Hale Farm and experience life on a real archaeological dig. Explore a medieval Sussex farmstead, see genuine finds up close, and help uncover its hidden past. Grab a trowel and join us in the trench! Our friendly archaeologists will guide you every step of the way as you learn excavation techniques, metal detecting, and how to identify ancient artefacts. Perfect for beginners, young people, and anyone curious about the past. Location - Hale Farm, Hale Green, Chiddingly, East Sussex, BN8 6HQ Book a place on one of the dig sessions listed above.
