The Laguna J|16 Industrial Jointer is a powerhouse of a machine. This 16" model features a total length of just over 8 ft. to handle extra-long stock. The heavy cast-iron tables are supported by parallelogram adjusters and controlled through precision hand-wheel adjusters. Complete with a robust 5HP motor, the J|16 is ideal for professional cabinet and furniture shops milling heavy volumes of wide stock daily. This industrial jointer is equipped with the Laguna ShearTec cutterhead, which features 144 German carbide insert knives for maximum durability. The fence is a heavy casting supported by a large diameter shaft with rack and pinion movement for smooth, repeatable accuracy. An overhead control panel allows for easy start, stop, and speed control adjustments. The swing-away guard is easily adjustable and removable for knife replacements.
