CRiCKETT Vest

When you think of style icons you probably don’t think of the greatest cricketer of all time, but I do and that really is all that matters. I saw a picture of big Sachin wearing his test cricket vest with a baggy, white t-shirt underneath and I declared it as my look for 2026, so here we are, the CRiCKETT vest. We went to the original manufacturer of the vest and asked if they could replicate it for us, luckily Lisa in the Midlands was on hand and even had the original measurements and everything to re-make this classic piece of sportswear. The stripes are the exact measurements as those that were present on Sachin’s jumper in the photo. We have even used the same cabling as seen on his vest. This is as close as you can get to the original without creeping into Sachin’s house and seeing if you can find it in his house… and we don’t want you to get arrested… again. The vest is manufactured from 100% British wool which is sourced and dyed right here in the UK. Wool has wonderful insulating and cooling capabilities that are seldom promoted and infinitely better than that rubbish polyester stuff people try and fob you off with nowadays! Cricket jumpers come with an extra long rib at the bottom this is so that it can be ‘tucked under’ in order to keep the cold away from you when at the crease or looking great when you are at the bar. Ribbed shoulders and neck make sure that you get a nice, snug fit with the cabling throughout the jumper ensuring that whether you are having a morning session fielding or eating too many sandwiches at lunch, the jumper will stretch with you. The vest will keep a little snug at first, but it will grow and stretch with you. If you prefer a looser fit, go a size up from your usual TRiCKETT size. I also highly recommend getting a Shaka Wear t-shirt or any slightly oversized t-shirt to wear underneath to get that full Sachin look. Just to make things even more exciting, if you purchase one of these lovely jumpers you will get a FREE TRiCKETT Crickett ball, so that you can pretend you know how to play… we can keep a secret. Another example of us becoming a little too obsessed with making something the ‘right’ way and not stopping until we do. Still, beats having a proper job. 100% British wool.
