Antique 15ct Gold Three Row Opal Harem Ring, 0.70ct Opals
Description: A beautiful Victorian three row “harem” ring, aglow with opaline fire. Set in rich 15ct Gold, petite round Opal cabochons form a wide, luminous band, their milky bodies flashing soft blues, greens and pinks with every movement. The design is wonderfully tactile and refined, with three parallel rows of bezel-set cabochons and delicate openwork beneath that keeps the ring light on the finger. Together the Opals total approximately 0.70ct, creating a striking yet elegant statement that feels unmistakably antique and irresistibly wearable. Item Details: ERA: Victorian (1837–1901). RING SIZE: UK Size O / US Size 7 This ring cannot be resized. MEASUREMENTS: Ring tapers from 10mm wide at the front to 6mm wide at the back. Opals measure 3mm in diameter, weighing approx. 0.70ct combined. WEIGHT: 2.3g. MATERIALS: Tests as 15ct Gold, Natural Solid Opals (0.70ct). HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation. PACKAGING: Your order will be gift-wrapped free of charge in a Lillicoco cardboard box made from recycled materials, tied with a ribbon. Condition: VERY GOOD: The Opals present beautifully with attractive play-of-colour and light age-related surface wear. The 15ct Gold band and settings show some wear with small dinks and dents commensurate with age, but the ring remains in lovely condition overall. A solder join is visible to the shank/underside, and there is minor patina in recessed areas.
