THE FAMILY SILVER are a power trio comprising singer and guitarist Matt Deighton (Mother Earth, Paul Weller, Oasis), drummer Steve White (Paul Weller, ) and bass player Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene). Electric Blend is their only album to date (it received a limited release via PledgeMusic in 2015) although a 500-run EP of six new songs was sold on CD at a gig or two in 2017. The new 2CD deluxe edition of Electric Blend offers the original 12-track album, newly mastered, on CD 1 and a bonus CD 2 of rarities. The newly mastered second disc features: Rare 6-track 'Blaze of Light' EP 3 extra tracks 3 previously unreleased acoustic recordings from 2016 5 early mixes The 2CD set is presented in a high quality DVD-sized casebound book deluxe edition, which features a gloss finished front cover with silver Pantone highlights. The 28 pages in the book offers a track-by-track guide to the album from all three band members via new interviews by Sean Hannam. This special physical edition is limited to 1,000 units worldwide and is an SDE exclusive available only from the SDE shop. It will be released on 16 October 2026.
