The Ecoglo® E4051 Photoluminescent Contrast Strip combines protected photoluminescent step-edge marking with a hard-wearing yellow silicon-carbide non-slip insert integrally bonded to a rigid aluminum base. The system provides prominent step-edge definition under normal lighting while providing photoluminescent guidance when normal lighting levels are reduced. At 2 inches wide, the E4051 provides a compact, high-visibility solution for combining luminous stair-edge marking and non-slip protection on exit stairs, commercial stairways and other egress applications. The Ecoglo® E40 Series is designed for stairs where luminous path markings are required by applicable project or code requirements.
