Exploring the Diverse Applications of Dynamic Assessment: Insights from a Local Authority Educational Psychologist In this interactive half-day course, led by Dr. Suzy Shaw, we explore the diverse applications of dynamic assessment within the fast-paced environment of a local authority educational psychology service. Through real-world examples, we consider how dynamic assessment can be effectively integrated into observations, consultations, and assessments to explore children and young people’s learning potential. Participants will gain practical insights into the variety of ways in which dynamic assessment principles can be applied to identify learning strengths, needs and mediational support strategies to enhance learning and development.
