Yves Saint Laurent S/S 1979 Stars and Moon Yellow Silk Blouse

Out of this world Yves Saint Laurent Spring 1979 runway blouse. The iconic cosmic stars and moon print pieces of this era are highly collectible YSL! The vibrant printed silk crepe is a warm ochre yellow with a blue, violet, green, red, and white celestial motif. The playful print is rooted in sophistication with a classic Saint Laurent pussy-bow neck tie attached at the back of the neck. There is an additional unattached thin tie that can be tied at the neck or however you please! Exquisite light weight silk crepe. The blouse has a buttonless collar that can be worn open or tied with the pussy bow to create a keyhole detail. The slight bishop sleeves button at the cuffs. Relaxed shoulder with a blouse under-arm. Unlined. Slip-on style with no additional closure. A rare, runway-documented archival piece. Highly collectible. Very good condition with a few imperfections to note. There is a small area of faint stains at the lower back of the blouse shown in photo #10. There are a few very small faint marks at the lower front hem of the blouse shown in photo #11. There are teeny pulls that are hard to detect commensurate with age. Labelled a FR 42.
