Kinesiology Tape (K-Tape) – Latex-Free, Water-Resistant Muscle Support – Black (1 Roll)
Black kinesiology tape (K-Tape) — one full 2 in × 16.4 ft (5 cm × 5 m) roll of elastic cotton sports tape. Cut it to the length and shape you need and apply it along muscles, tendons and joints for lightweight, flexible support that moves with you through training, recovery and everyday wear. It’s latex-free, water-resistant and breathable, so it stays put through sweat and showers — up to about three days per application. Sold individually — one roll. Key features at a glance One full uncut roll — 2 in wide × 16.4 ft long (5 cm × 5 m). Cut your own I-, Y-, X- or fan-strips. ~70% stretch — high-elastic cotton (a 25 cm strip stretches to roughly 42 cm) so it mirrors your skin and muscles for a natural range of motion. Heat-activated adhesive — rub for a few seconds (or warm with a hair dryer) to lock it down. Latex-free, skin-friendly adhesive with a wave-pattern weave for a secure fit. Water-resistant & breathable — sweat-permeable; train, shower and swim in it. Up to ~3 days of wear per application. Colour: black. Versatile — shoulder, knee, elbow, wrist, ankle, calf, neck and lower-back support. How to apply (5 steps) Cut to length along the adhesive backing’s straight edge. Round the corners with scissors to stop the edges curling and lifting. Tear the backing paper from the centre to expose the adhesive without touching the sticky side. Apply the starting anchor with no stretch. Stretch the middle section moderately, then lay the end down with no tension. Rub along the tape to activate the adhesive. For the best hold, apply about an hour before your activity, and remove by peeling slowly in the direction of hair growth — easiest in the shower once the adhesive has softened. Pre-application tips Clean & dry skin — clear of hair, dirt, oils and moisturiser, and fully dry. Round every corner to prevent edge lifting. Never stretch the very ends — only the middle — so the tape doesn’t pull or pinch as you move. Patch test first if you have sensitive skin; stop use if redness, swelling or itching occurs. Don’t re-peel and re-stick — press gently for 3–5 seconds (a hair dryer helps) to set the adhesive. FAQ How long does kinesiology tape stay on? Up to about three days per application, even through showers and workouts, depending on the area and your skin. Is it waterproof? It’s water-resistant and sweat-permeable — you can shower, train and even swim in it; just pat it dry afterward. How stretchy is it? Very — it has roughly 70% stretch (a 25 cm strip pulls to about 42 cm), so it flexes with you. Is it latex-free? Yes — the adhesive is latex-free and skin-friendly. Do a small patch test if you have sensitive skin. How do I get it to stay put? Apply about an hour before activity, round the corners, don’t stretch the ends, and rub along the tape (or warm it with a hair dryer) to activate the adhesive. How do I cut it? Straight from the roll — an I-strip for small spots, or Y-, X- and fan-shapes for joints and larger muscles. Round the corners every time. How many rolls do I get? One roll — these are sold individually. Version française Ruban kinésiologique (K-Tape) noir — un rouleau complet de 5 cm × 5 m de ruban sportif en coton élastique (~70% d’étirement).
