NORDIC CARBON FEATHER – Gabel trail running and Nordic walking Nordic Carbon Feather poles are ultralight and foldable; designed for trekking but also suitable for trail running, they are highly valued by mountain professionals and alpine guides. They feature the cork grip with removable NCS strap. The shaft consists of five sections made of “Snake Carbon”—a specialized carbon fiber with a snakeskin-like weave—and utilizes “Wired” technology, allowing the poles to collapse down to just 30 cm. A simple button releases the tension on the internal steel cable, allowing the sections to separate; this straightforward mechanism makes collapsing the poles quick and easy. The upper section of the pole is height-adjustable; once the desired height is set, the length is secured using “U-Lock Mono” technology, a clamp-style locking system featuring an aluminum lever. The tungsten carbide tip ensures excellent traction on the ground, even on challenging terrain. Price is per pair.
