Very Rare Miserite + Wollastonite, Wilson Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, USA
VERY RARE Large Miserite + Wollastonite, from the North Wilson Pit, Wilson Springs (aka Potash Sulphur Springs), Garland County, Arkansas, USA Pinkish-Purple Miserite and Whitish-Gray Wollastonite from a long closed locale. The North Wilson Pit in Wilson Springs/Potash Sulphur Springs in Garland County is the type-locality for Miserite. The north wilson pit is now closed/reclaimed. This is a Beautiful combination of these two unique minerals. The specimen is beautifully UV Reactive, shining a nice orange color under longwave 365nm light, and a bright yellow/yellow green under shortwave UV light (see photos).
