Down´s Port 1972 Reserve

Down´s Port 1972 Reserve is a rare mature bottling from Dow’s, one of the Douro Valley’s most historic Port houses, founded in 1798 and internationally renowned for producing structured, long-lived Ports. This 1972 Reserve was aged in seasoned oak casks before being bottled in Oporto in 1981, reflecting the traditional ageing practices of the period. Produced in limited quantities, it represents an increasingly scarce example of a mature Dow’s Reserve Port and is of particular interest to collectors and enthusiasts of historic Portuguese fortified wines.
