Japow

When Izzy got the opportunity to guide in Japan, we were her next call and we got started on the perfect one ski quiver for her to work and play! Her idea was simple: a quiver killer, to ride well from December to March. Wide enough to float, but thin enough to put on edge. Light enough to move efficiently uphill, but heavy enough to push through crud and carry well at high speed. At 110mm underfoot the Japow is on the narrower side for a dedicated powder ski, however, paired generous tip and tail rocker and a fairly wide tip and tail, this ski floats like a dream, and maintains its responsiveness when the urge to lay it over strikes!
