Alden Fireplace Screen in Tobacco

The Alden is a hand-forged iron fire screen built on a spare outer frame, with a fine iron mesh panel set into the center and a low rectangular base. The top rail rests above the mesh rather than closing over it, leaving the upper edge open to the firelight. It specifies well in transitional, modern organic, and tailored interiors, wherever the fireplace needs structure without ornament. Built by hand in our Texas studio, each Alden is cut, fitted, and hand-finished by our metalworkers, with the mesh set into the inner frame.
