Georgian 9k Gold Foiled Back Flat Cut Garnet and Pearl Brooch C. 1800

Over 200 years of history in a wearable, beautiful item! This authentic antique Georgian brooch dates from the late 18th or early 19th century, circa 1800. Eleven flat cut and foil backed garnets surround a border of seed pearls with a beautiful cherry red faceted foiled garnet center. All set in 9k rosy yellow gold. Beautiful sparkle and color -especially flickering in candlelight. Is gorgeous as a brooch but would also make a wonderful pendant or ring with conversion. Dimensions: 1 inch long by .75 inches wide. Weight: 4.4 grams Antique box for display only. Condition: In very good antique condition. All stones intact and appear original. Reverse tests as low karat gold.
