2026 Young Lions Junior Development (SAP) Term 2
2026 Young Lions SAP Term 2 (U9-U12) The 8 week Skill Acquisition Phase development program for boys and girls commences Sunday 10th May at LP3 Location. It runs on Wednesdays and Sundays during School Term Players are encouraged to attend both sessions each week however if another sport or activity prevents this, the Club will accept players into the program one night a week (select above): Wednesday 4:30pm-5:45pm Sundays 3:00pm-4:15pm (no training 7th June ) You do not have to play for Kingborough Lions United FC to be involved !! The Young Lions Junior Development SAP Program is open to all girls and boys born in 2014, 2015, 2016 or 2017 playing with Southern schools and clubs. The program aims to develop the core skills of players in a supportive environment during their golden years of motor skill development. The technical and operational aspects of the program are managed by KLUFC, all coaching staff have or are working towards FFA coach accreditation and the program is supported by Football Federation Tasmania (FFT), providing technical support and guidance when required. Players require the below equipment for every session: Football boots Shin pads covered with football socks A full water bottle Hat and sunscreen Parent Agreement: I give KLUFC permission to publish photos of our training sessions, games or clinics on the KLUFC website, Social Media sites and/or the Kingborough Chronicle. Players will not be identified by the club in any photos. Refund policy – KLUFC will not refund any monies (i.e. if training sessions or games are missed or cancelled there will be no refund). Players are expected to purchase the Young Lions training kit and wear it to each session. The Training Kit includes quality Kappa brand training shirt, shorts & socks. It cost $75 and can be purchased as individual items or a single kit. It can be purchased online – add it while doing your registration.
