Welcome to the Book Nook: A Workshop with Jerry Bedor Phillips Title: Welcome to the Book Nook Artist: Jerry Phillips Proposed Dates: Sunday – June 7, 2026 Times: 1pm to 5pm Meeting Space: Studio 53 Type: Soft-cover Coptic Binding Materials: provided Workshop fee: $35 Description: Learn to bind a small journal using a one needle Coptic binding technique with a softcover. This workshop will help develop hand/eye coordination through repeated steps including folding signatures, preparing materials by cutting and gluing papers, and binding with a needle and thread. Materials will be provided. Each participant will complete one journal with 120 pages by the end of the workshop.
