Carved Fox Skull in Shadow Box

This beautiful fox has been very patient with me! I began carving this skull back in November of 2024 and after such a long time (and a replacement tool!) I recently finished her - actually I'm not 100% certain if this fox is female as the energy shifts between feminine, masculine and neither to be completely honest! I have also placed a lovely butterfly friend within, this is a Graphium eurypylus from a vintage collection we sourced a few years ago from an op shop. I've also added some faux florals and little "pinecones" for added decoration. The shadow box itself has been crafted from two smaller frames, which Adam has joined together for me before I painted it black with acrylic paint. Measures: 28cm x 23cm x 8cm (approximately) A hanging hook can easily be added to this frame if you'd like to do so, or it sits well on a flat surface.
