Gitare AB
Gitare AB is produced by its namesake, Gitare, a washing station established in 1954 that belongs to the Kimaratia Farmers Co-operative Society. It’s uniquely embedded within a tea-growing zone, and sources its water from the nearby River Theta. This coffee was air-freighted by Regalia a month after harvest to preserve its peak freshness. A beautiful representation of Kenyan coffee, this washed light-roast opens up beautifully with notes of pomegranate, dark chocolate–covered fig, plum, and lychee. 🌎Origin: Kiambu, Kenya ⚗️ Process: Washed 🔬 Variety: SL28, Batian, Ruiru 11 ⛰️ Elevation: 1,925 MASL 🔥 Roast: Light
