Cosmic Girl and The Night Sky began with a fascination — the kind that arrives late at night when the sky is clear and the questions get bigger. What exists beyond us. What exists within us. Whether those two things are the same question. She arrived intuitively — her face simple and still, eyes closed, present and elsewhere simultaneously. What surprised me was her hair. It grew outward like weather, like wings, like something the night sky exhaled. Dense flowing line that became its own landscape. Above her, the stars. Around her, the wave of her own interior life, just as vast.
