Wool Waffle Knit Shirt - Natural

There are a lot of waffle knit shirts out there, but none like this. This is a burly, substantial 100% wool layer built from one of the finest fabrics we’ve worked with. Developed in Italy with a partner mill we’ve built a relationship with over time, this fabric represents exactly what we believe wool should be. The waffle knit structure creates natural loft throughout the garment. That loft traps heat when you need it, while still allowing excess heat and moisture to escape. The result is a piece that keeps you warm without overheating, dry without feeling clammy, and comfortable across a wide range of conditions. Despite its weight, this fabric is built to be comfortable directly on skin due to the high quality of the wool fiber. It has structure and character, but it’s easy to wear as a base layer without feeling harsh or restrictive. Throw it on over bare skin, or layer it up. It adapts to how you wear it. This isn’t just a shirt or a base layer. It’s heavier than most crewneck sweaters, yet versatile enough to be worn three ways. Directly on skin as a base layer, over a tee as a mid layer, or on its own as an outer layer. For a long time, we’ve had a clear vision of how wool should be used across a full system of garments. We could go out and make cotton shirts, but that’s not what we’re here to do. We’re focused on building something different. Pieces that stand on their own, but also work together as part of a larger lineup. This is one of those pieces. It’s not built for everyone. It’s built for those who understand what goes into something like this and trust that we’re going to deliver something you won’t find anywhere else. And this is just the beginning.
