Well, here’s a scenario for you; you’re stuck on a desert island, you know, something like Gilligan’s Island, (with Ginger & Mary Ann? - Stop it!) and the Professor has harvested some free energy for you to run your amp; this vintage Fender Super Amp would be the only amp you would ever need! Couple that with a vintage guitar of your choice and, most-likely, you would never want to be saved from that island, ever! Ok, wake-up, back to reality; these amps are getting real hard to find and sound amazing with their two 10” Oxford speakers. The vibrato sounds sweet as a button and both channels sound great. There’s something special about Fender’s brown amps from the early 60’s; they have a tone that sounds like a tweed amp and a blackface amp blended together; in simple terms, they sound awesome! Put your guitar through a reverb pedal or reverb tank and you've, pretty-well, got yourself a Fender Vibroverb for a third of the cost! The speakers in this one have been re-coned and are ready to last another 50-plus years. The transformer is from Mercury Magnetics and it’s running on 110 volts and comes with a step-down transformer. Caps have been changed at some stage; this amp sounds amazing and is very good condition. Pics tell the story; don’t miss out!
