2022 Radikon 'RS' Merlot

Place: Friuli, ITA Variety: Merlot, Pignolo Farming: Organic Radikon is one of the defining estates of Friuli, based in Oslavia near the Slovenian border. Pioneers of low-intervention winemaking and extended skin contact, the family produces distinctive wines defined by texture, freshness and a strong sense of place. RS blends Merlot with Pignolo. Black cherry and blackberry are layered with dried herbs, violet and gentle spice. Juicy and savoury, fresh acidity and fine, grippy tannins bring structure through a long, energetic finish.
