Manresa Fig Tree

The Manresa Fig Tree is a highly regarded Spanish variety originating from the beautiful island of Mallorca, Spain. Part of the esteemed fig collection of Montserrat Pons, Manresa is prized for its exceptional fruit quality, striking appearance, and delicious flavor. This variety produces large, impressive figs with a beautiful purple exterior that contrasts wonderfully with the vibrant red interior, making it one of the more visually appealing figs for any collection. Inside, Manresa reveals a rich, flavorful pulp with an outstanding berry taste complemented by unique peachy notes. This combination creates a delicious and distinctive flavor profile that sets Manresa apart from more traditional berry-style figs. The balance of rich berry sweetness and subtle stone fruit flavors makes each bite a memorable experience, especially when the fruit is allowed to reach peak ripeness on the tree. With its large fruit, beautiful coloration, and exceptional eating quality, the Manresa Fig Tree is an exciting addition to any home orchard or fig collection. Its connection to the renowned Montserrat Pons collection adds to its appeal, especially for growers who appreciate rare and distinctive Spanish fig varieties.
