Karakuri "The Last Piece" Japanese Puzzle Box

This piece was for sale in one of their "Idea Contest" offerings. The crafter describes this puzzle in the following manner, "I had a hard time making the pieces. Please fit the last piece to open the box. *Please play on a desk as a drawer can be removed. *Please make sure not to put the piece in a drawer as it is a necessary parts to open this box." Original idea by Naomasa Okamoto Hand-crafted by Kotoya Hasebe (Karakuri Creation Group)" Released in March, 2006, it measures 138 x 108 x 50 mm with a storage space of 41×107.5×24.5 mm／22.5×107.5×24.5 mm. Crafted in Walnut and Maple.
