Time Does Not Exist - Original

Listing Time Does Not Exist is an original painting by YIFAN ZHANG. A luminous, fluid-looking cosmic landscape surrounds a ring-shaped spacecraft, bringing together the scale of the universe and a question about how we experience time. Original artwork, 39.4 × 19.7 in. Price: USD 2,800. Artwork Description Against a dark ground, currents of coral, rose, violet and turquoise sweep across the surface. A bright curved boundary divides the composition while a small circular spacecraft sits near its center. The contrast between the detailed machine and the expansive field of color gives the painting both a point of focus and a sense of motion. The title Time Does Not Exist opens the image to more than one reading. The circular form can suggest an orbit, a clock without hands, or a journey that has no clear beginning or end. These are interpretations invited by the work, not a claim about a specific scientific theory. From a distance, the painting reads as a bold color composition; closer in, the spacecraft and layered surface reward slower looking. Background Story Space travel is often described in distances and destinations. This painting shifts attention to the feeling of being suspended between them. A human-made craft faces a vast, shifting field that seems to move beyond ordinary measures of place and time. The result is a contemporary image of exploration, uncertainty and possibility.
