Wondering if the “landlord” or “taxman” might be watching from below… but also about the only two certainties in life: Death and Taxes. Ben Franklin famously put the Death and Taxes line in writing back in 1789, and his observation still rings true today. Unavoidable and unfortunate as death and taxes are, we still gotta do what we gotta do to enjoy a short life… so we keep working and paddling back out every day.
