Cake

I knew I wanted to use a pink background for this slice of cake, so as I worked out what type of cake it would be, I wanted to make sure it all fit together. The chocolate adds a bit more life to the image. I wanted the drip marks to do the same thing on the cake. Oddly, the bit I enjoyed most was painting the fork, trying to make it look metallic and not just a dull grey, adding highlights and shadows. I did the same with the strawberry sauce on the cake.
