Hammer Poll Axe

Most things need to either be pummeled into dust or chopped into pieces, and this axe will do either with class. Forged from half-inch thick 5160, this full-tang axe has satin finishes alongside the natural texture from the hammer and the forge. The cutting edge is thin enough to be a wicked cutter, but tough enough so you can cut what needs cutting. In case you wonder how tough, watch my YouTube video on Breaching Axes. The reverse side has a wide, quilted hammerhead, making it stick to your target rather than slipping off (think about those slippery rounded tent stakes). The handle is curly maple, faceted and oil finished, secured with composite pins. The leather head cover has a snap lanyard for secure transport.
