Double-Knit Felted Mittens by Marcella
These cozy mittens are hand-knit by artisan Marcella Patenaude with our bulky yarn and felted to size by Shannon. Using alpaca yarn from our herd, they are knit oversize, and then felted down with hot water, soap, and agitation. Felting the alpaca after knitting tightens the fibres and increases wind and water resistance taking the hand-knit mittens we know and love to the next level!
