These pendants begin as raw natural hematite crystals that are fitted with a hand-sculpted harness and bail made of epoxy clay and copper wire, and then embossed with a pebbled texture. They are electroformed with pure copper for 36-40 hours, creating a substantial copper layer over the design and the top of the crystal. Each one is unique. Hematite is often called a "stone for the mind" as it helps to clear confusion and promote mental clarity and concentration. It also stimulates the root chakra (Muladhara) to help in grounding oneself and protecting one's energy and aura.
