Languedoc, France— Les Cigales dans la Fourmilière Marée Basse is a natural red wine from Montpeyroux in the Languedoc, crafted by life partners Julie Brosselin and Ivo Ferreira. This collaborative cuvée blends Grenache Noir and Grenache Blanc with Muscat à Petit Grains from their 10 hectares of organic vineyards in the Mediterranean hills. The grapes undergo co-fermentation with 3-7 days maceration in wooden tanks, followed by 5 months maturation. Named "low tide," the wine reflects the scrubby coastal terroir. Bottled unfined, unfiltered with no added sulfites following minimal intervention principles. Light red wine with crunchy red fruits, cranberry, and pomegranate flavors.
