Gopas
Designed in 1972 and back from the OG archive, the Gopas is Oliver Goldsmith’s aviator, drawn large. A heavy flat top runs straight across the brow with an exaggerated keyhole bridge below it. That gives it a squarer, more architectural line than the classic teardrop. It’s made from cotton acetate and has the weight and depth of an OG frame from the seventies. It’s a frame for people who don’t mind their glasses being noticed. As Oliver Goldsmith put it in 1965, ‘If you find a shape you like, have it.’ Features Originally designed in 1972 Oversized aviator with a heavy flat top Exaggerated keyhole bridge Premium cotton acetate UVA/UVB protection Winter Sun only: lightly tinted Winter Sun lenses, RX-ready Handmade in Italy Optical grade lenses Includes: OG protective hard case and cleaning cloth Two-year warranty and 30-day-no-quibble returns
