Dark chocolate and roasted coffee lead the way, with brioche, soft tobacco, red fruit and gentle spice adding extra depth. The palate is smooth and rounded, with enough roast to give it proper stout character without becoming overly heavy. At 4.4% ABV, it stays very approachable for such a dark, flavour packed beer. This is a great choice if you like dark beer with proper roast and chocolate character but still want something balanced and easy to drink.
