Installation Note Because accessing and physically extracting the factory flasher relay is extremely difficult due to tight clearance, we recommend leaving the original OEM unit mounted in place. Simply unplug it, connect the MITA replacement relay, and safely tuck the new unit adjacent to the harness. Note on Premature Canceling (e.g., Roundabouts) Will this module assist if your signal cancels too easily mid-turn? While the automated 3 to 5 pulse sequence provides helpful signaling coverage through brief maneuvers, it serves as a functional helper rather than a total solution for worn OEM mechanical stalk mechanisms. LED Conversion Compatibility Note The OTTS module successfully addresses LED hyperflash for your turn signal bulbs, allowing you to upgrade without rapid flashing. However, please note that for a full LED rear tail-lamp conversion, the factory brake lamp monitoring system may still trigger a “BRAKE LAMP OUT” warning due to the lower current draw of LEDs. To resolve this, a separate plug-and-play shunting harness is necessary to keep your installation clean, straightforward, and warning-free.
