The Cosm was designed by Berlin’s Studio 7.5 for Herman Miller and first shown in Milan in 2018. Its Auto-Harmonic Tilt reads your weight and posture and sets the recline tension by itself, so there is no tension knob. The Intercept suspension runs in one continuous piece from seat to back, with no gap behind the lower spine. This is the low-back Cosm in Nightfall, a deep navy. The whole chair is the one colour: frame, mesh, arms and base. Both the seat and the arms are height-adjustable, and it was made in the USA in 2022. A chair that sets itself to whoever sits in it.
