Fish Ornament by E. Drumm Designs

These ornaments are cut from light weight fiberboard, hand-painted (on both sides!) and varnished. Hangs from a black wire. Because this item is handmade, it will vary from the image shown. Dimensions: approximately 7.5" x 5" Hand painted wood sculpture and home decor made by Elisa Drumm Van Auken of E. Drumm Designs in Littleton, Massachusetts. Elisa Drumm Van Auken of E. Drumm Designs is the daughter of artists Don and Lisa Drumm. She grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textiles. After graduation she went to work in NY for Gilbert Frank as a textile designer for their Men's Wear department. Most of their work was for surf wear companies on the West Coast. After marrying her husband, Jeff, she moved to the Boston area and started her own line of hand printed clothing. Years later, while raising her twins, she turned in her sewing machines for table saws and sanders and began playing around with painting on wood. Find more of Elisa's work here.
