SEYA x ISAAC REINA URUSHI CARD BOX
A collaboration design with Isaac Reina, crafted by Okinawa-based lacquer artist Ai Tokeshi. Made using kanshitsu (dry lacquer), this piece is primarily composed of lacquer and fabric. Only the base uses a wooden core, the rest is formed by layering hemp and cotton cloth with lacquer and nibi, a sandstone native to Okinawa. Each layer is carefully harden before the next is applied. The final fabric layer uses an archive fabric of seya. Size: 10 × 6.5cm THHS156-A
