The Opéra Noir Élégance Black & Gold Chandelier by HDLS Lighting Ltd is a French-inspired statement chandelier created for refined residential and hospitality interiors. Measuring 95 cm (37") in diameter with a 90 cm (35") overall body height, its 8-light composition offers a more restrained scale while retaining the theatrical character of the Opéra Noir Collection. Crafted from copper, Élégance combines matte-black finished sections with richly sculpted elements in 24K electroplated gold. Candle-style lights, ornamental scrollwork, decorative chains and a formal symmetrical silhouette reference the grandeur of French Second Empire and Napoleon III interiors, reinterpreted for modern-classic spaces rather than reproduced as a historical antique. Its proportions make Élégance particularly suited to formal dining rooms, entrance halls, drawing rooms, stair halls, luxury residences, private clubs, boutique hotels and sophisticated French-style interiors. The contrast between matte black and polished gold gives the chandelier architectural definition while allowing it to integrate comfortably into rooms where the larger Majesté or Triomphe would command too much visual volume. Each Opéra Noir Élégance chandelier is made to order, hand-assembled and individually hand-finished. Adjustable suspension allows the installed drop to respond to ceiling height and room proportions, while limited dimensional customisation may be considered subject to technical review. The chandelier is LED compatible and dimmable, with electrical versions available for UK, European, US and Canadian installations.
