DB1-01

By Andrew Longo Workshop Designed By Andrew Longo An exercise in elemental grace, the DB1-01 dining bench reinterprets the tradition of communal seating through a lens of uncompromised restraint. Conceived by Andrew Longo and rendered in luminous solid ash, this two-seat bench offers an invitation to closeness, pairing architectural rigor with organic warmth. Its clean, uninterrupted lines celebrate the expressive grain of the wood, allowing the natural character of the material to take centre stage. Built to accompany the rhythm of daily life, whether framing a dining table or resting gracefully in an entryway, the DB1-01 honours the beauty of utility elevated to art. Over time, the living ash absorbs the touch of daily interaction, developing a profound, bespoke patina that tells the unique story of its home.
