This is a beautiful 1950s–1960s Scottish cashmere sweater by Pringle of Scotland, crafted from 100% pure cashmere in a gorgeous deep royal blue. Featuring a classic round neckline, short sleeves, finely ribbed trims and a softly shaped waist, creating a simple yet wonderfully flattering mid-century silhouette. The original Pringle label bears the Royal Warrant of H.M. The Queen, a lovely reminder of the brand's long-standing reputation for exceptional Scottish knitwear. It has a small repair on the right underarm (view photo), not noticiable at all when worn. No other issues. This piece has been carefully hand washed and the cashmere fibers are in excellent shape, fluffy, soft and free of pilling. The color is solid. No holes, stains, smells, rips, etc.
