New Mexico 9th Annual EggFest

Join us for one of Clovis's favorite traditions — a backyard cook-off where local pitmasters compete for glory (and a killer engraved cutting board). Each year, 150–200 hungry attendees turn out to sample dishes from a lineup of 4–9 dedicated cooks, many of whom have been slinging plates since Year 1 — some have competed in all 8 events to date. How it works: Cooks bring their A-game (and their own ingredients and utensils) to prepare their signature dishes. Attendees buy tickets to sample everything on offer and cast their vote for the best bite. Top 3 finishers take home engraved cutting board trophies — pure bragging rights on the line. Burns has you covered: Eggs, ConvEGGtor plates, and charcoal/starters are all provided by Burns, so cooks can focus on the food. It's for a great cause: Every dollar raised is matched by Burns and donated to Angel Arms, a local charity that helps send airmen stationed at the local USAF base home for the holidays when they can't afford the trip themselves.
