Wilderness Trail Single Barrel "Pittmaster Pick"

Wilderness Trail 6 Year Single Barrel — “Pitmaster Pick” Southern Spirits Selection This Wilderness Trail “Pitmaster Pick” is one of the most unique and exciting single barrels we have selected — and just wait until you see the color on this bottle! Although this bourbon is aged 6 years, it has the deep, rich color you would expect from a 10 year bourbon, and the flavor absolutely delivers on that first impression. We named this barrel “Pitmaster Pick” because of its incredible Honey BBQ character. Right away, the nose greets you with sweet honey, savory barbecue notes, and rich oak. Then, surprisingly, those same flavors carry beautifully onto the palate! You might not expect honey and BBQ-inspired flavors to work so well together in a bourbon, but this barrel proves otherwise. It is bold, savory, sweet, and unlike just about anything else we have tasted. We cannot wait to see the Old Fashioned variations you create with this one! Whether you are a bourbon enthusiast, backyard BBQ lover, or shopping for the pitmaster in your life, this is a bottle that deserves a spot on your shelf. In fact, we loved this selection so much that we bought the entire barrel!
