Racers Edge Tire Punch Tool – Hand Punch for Venting RC Tires and Foam Inserts, All Scales

Overview A sealed RC tire traps air, and trapped air makes a tire balloon under load, bounce over bumps and wear unevenly. The Racers Edge Tire Punch Tool solves that in a few seconds per tire: press it through the sidewall or tread and it removes a clean round plug rather than tearing a ragged slit the way a hobby knife does. The hand-held body gives enough grip to push through rubber and foam without a drill, and the cutting edge leaves a neat hole that is far less likely to start a tear in the sidewall later on. Key Features Punches clean, round vent holes in RC tires and foam inserts Hand-operated - no drill or power tool required Removes a plug instead of slitting, so the hole will not run Works across scales, from touring tires to large off-road tires Performance Benefits Vented tires stop ballooning at speed, keeping the contact patch flat Air escapes and returns on impact, so the tire follows the surface better Round holes resist cracking and tearing far better than knife cuts Lets water and dirt drain out instead of sitting inside the carcass Usage Notes Punch holes before gluing the tire to the wheel where possible Space the holes evenly around the tire to keep it balanced Punch through a scrap block or board so the point is supported Clear the plug out of the tool after each hole Technical Specs Brand: Racers Edge Item No.: RCE7761 Type: Hand tire punch Use: Vent holes in RC tires and foam inserts Quantity: 1 tool What's Included (1) Tire punch tool Fitment Compatible RC vehicles: Universal - any RC tire or foam insert that needs venting, on any scale of car or truck.
