2023 Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley
Sourced from select blocks of our regeneratively farmed estate vineyard, this Pinot Noir highlights the structure and elegance typical of Anderson Valley AVA. The 2023 vintage followed two years of drought, so the mild summer felt like a welcome reset. Yields were low, but the clusters came in full. Fermented in macro bins and aged for 10 months in French oak (25% new), this unfiltered wine opens with earthy aromas of juniper and pine. The light garnet body swirls with Rainier cherry and cassis. Vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins, and a focused, mineral-driven finish lend both clarity and depth to the wine. While expressive now, this wine will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 5-7 years. It is an ideal match with our rich Velvet Sister.
