Great little everyday user! Check out this vintage Dayton pattern boys axe --- 2.5 lb. axe head hung on an 18" "A" grade Amish-turned hickory handle and secured by a black walnut wedge. At one point the head was painted red. We thought leaving what was left of that paint gave the axe some extra character! Perfect to throw in your truck to chop up those deadfalls that are in your way or grab it to help make a campfire on a chilly Fall day. Comes with a Maine-made leather sheath.
